I wanted to share briefly with you a couple of things I felt regarding the new year, 5783, that began on the evening of 25 September. A link to the teaching can be found below this writing. But here are some bullet points to give you an overview of the heart of what I felt:
“Those who feast on Zion will go from strength to strength.” – Isaiah 25:6-8.
“How enriched are they who find their strength in the Lord; within their hearts are the highways of holiness! Even when their paths wind through the dark valley of tears, they dig deep to find a pleasant pool where others find only pain. He gives to them a brook of blessing filled from the rain of an outpouring. They grow stronger and stronger with every step forward, and the God of all gods will appear before them in Zion.”; – Psalms 84:5-7 (TPT).
Isaiah 25:9 is key for this year. Those who walk in the Spirit will see veils of death removed from people’s eyes, bringing them into an encounter with Jesus himself. Darkness will be exposed, and people will begin to see Jesus as blindness is broken. The blood speaks a better word. Our language must align with the victories, truth and promise of the covenant of Christ. The groan of righteous Abel will never supersede the language of the victory of the cross of Jesus Christ. Speak victoriously!
– Just like Joseph, the Lord is removing mantles from His bride that will hinder us from walking into the full destiny He has for us. Jacob’s and Potiphar’s robe is not the final destination, but unless they are stripped from us, we will never clothe ourselves in our own identity, positioning us to walk with kings.
– The mantle of the Lord for this season is this:
“I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has covered me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom puts on a turban, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.’ – Isaiah 61:10 (AMP).
– Fresh oil and new mantles will be released by the Lord for the unique requirements that the times we are in demand. Don’t hold on too tightly to the past, the new requires directional changes that will surprise us.
– Begin the year clean. Repent and let go of any thought, attitude or sin that festers in our soul. We must enter in purity to see Him, and reveal Him, more clearly. Trade sorrow for glory – 1 Peter 4:14
– God is raising kingdom ambassadors this year to reach places that will surprise us:
“A wicked messenger falls into hardship, But a faithful ambassador brings healing.” – Proverbs 13:17 (AMP).
The ambassador’s only concern is for the image of the King and the kingdom to be upheld at all costs. Their own opinions are irrelevant, their idea or flavour is meaningless, and only the heart and image of the King matter.
– There is a harvest waiting, secrets in dark places, for those who endure, press on and walk in union with Jesus. His presence must be our one and only desire. As we set our focus on Him, doors of destiny will open to the surrendered heart.
– There is a great marriage that is going to take place between the apostolic and prophetic in this season. A new breed of leaders that will lay the foundation and cornerstone, of Jesus, in a powerful and profound way. It is a John Lake and Bob Jones anointing that will move the body forward at great speed.
In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might.’ – Ephesians 6:10 (AMP).
